Personalised Greeting Service

This service allows the pager holder to record their own personalised greeting which callers hear before being transferred to a PageOne Call Centre operator who will then take the caller’s message.

This removes the need to give the operator your pager number. The message will then be transmitted via the PageOne satellite paging network to your pager.

Service Features

  • The pager user is able to record their own personal greeting so callers who wish to leave a message, are greeted with a personalised response.
  • To ensure that no-one else can re-record your greeting, you have the facility to set up a Unique Access Code (PIN).
  • Number sequencing: To find out if you have missed a message, each message is prefixed with a number. The sequence begins at 1 and goes up to 32.

Typical Applications

If you divert your office voicemail, or incoming mobile calls, to PageOne’s Personalised Greeting Service, you will receive messages directly on your pager that you would otherwise have to retrieve at a later time. The service can also be used as an out-of-hours messaging service for any business which requires contact with their customers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Instead of recording your greeting, you may wish to use the service to record a special instruction, such as informing callers you are on holiday or to call an alternative number.

Cost

The Personalised Greeting service is available for a small addition to the monthly rental that you pay for your pager.
