Lone Worker Safety Alarms

What is Lone Working?

Lone working is a term applied to such roles where employees may work by themselves without close supervision or, in the case of mobile workers, where employees work away from their fixed base.

PageOne have developed a range of Lone Worker alerting systems to help safeguard vulnerable staff, and ensure employers are meeting their duty of care.

Our Services:

1. Responder 2-way SOS  Pager

PageOne’s two-way Responder device offers reliable two-way communication with the speed, assurance and reach of traditional paging coupled with the capacity to acknowledge and respond to paging broadcasts. More importantly, the technology embedded within the Responder Pager also supports an emergency SOS alarm button and GPS location positioning.

2. Responder Smartphone App

Available for Blackberry, iPhone and Android devices the Responder App includes a specific Lone Worker and SOS mode, which when activated requires the user to acknowledge a periodic welfare-check. Failure to do so, generates an SOS alarm combined with the last known GPS location.

3. Trio Man-down Device

A sophisticated impact/tilt/motion-based sensors within the Trio 2-way Pager delivers ‘man-down’ monitoring and SOS alerting. An optional welfare-check function provides a periodic reminder signal where failure to acknowledge generates an automatic SOS alarm. The Trio also includes GPS location positioning and works with PageOne’s unique IBT beacon system to locate staff inside major building complexes.
