We have one of the widest ranges of APIs from which to choose to integrate directly with PageOne’s systems. Providing a seamless messaging capability in your own systems, products or services has never been easier or more flexible. Our API’s can provide a secure route to our full-service features such as; 2-way & voice messaging, delivery reports, extended messages (SMS over 160 characters), high volume messaging and even location-enabled services – all via our user-friendly development tools.

REST

Our simple and powerful REST API makes it easy to integrate third-party software systems with PageOne’s multi-channel messaging gateway for automated SMS (or email, pager, Responder app) messages to mobilise business systems and processes. Our REST API comprises outbound and a REST call-back API extension provides message delivery and inbound responses to a client end-point.

SFTP

Submit/transfer batch files for message processing. Basic and enhanced data merge template options.

SOAP / XML

Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) is our most popular option for customers and partners looking for an integrated communications solution. SOAP uses HTML and XML to provide an easy to use solution that can be implemented easily and suits a wide array of applications. Current programming environments supported are: .NET, C#, C++, PHP, Perl, Java, VB6, ASP, Delphi and VC++.

SMPP

Short Message Peer to Peer (SMPP) is an open industry standard messaging protocol used to connect directly to a SMSC (Short Message Service Centre). SMPP is ideal for customers who want a simple and quick way to send large volume SMS messages to UK and International GSM phones.

One of the easiest protocols to implement. PageOne can offer simple SMS and paging messages via email (SMTP).

SNPP

Simple Network Paging Protocol (SNPP) is a standard protocol for sending messages to SMS and paging devices, SNPP provides quick and convenient connectivity from any Internet-connected PC software system. Ideally suited to enabling a customer’s own software systems to connect to PageOne for transmission of SMS and pager messages.

Our Original Connectivity solution: TAP has maintained it’s status as a reliable and easy to set up protocol, which supports a high volume of customers messaging daily. TAP uses a modem-to-modem connection and is a simple way to send paging and SMS messages.
